Legal Counsel to join Thule Group
As the legal complexity and compliance issues are getting more important in this global environment where we operate and the strictness of how we act and responds to those compliance issues are getting increasingly important we are looking for an inhouse Legal Counsel who can better and more efficiently coordinate and solve initiate legal reassurance in the Commercial Area but also towards other legal matters.
The Legal Counsel role is a very active hands-on role, being part of a team driving and developing the Thule Group’s legal coherence and processes, ensuring that the company's legal compliance and governance efforts support the long-term interests of the company. About the position
As a Legal Counsel you would:
Offer legal counselling to first and foremost sales and marketing but also other internal clients.
Work closely with the organization to evaluate risk factors and give proactive advice on legal matters
Identify, collect and analyze data that helps us monitor our compliance governance strength in relation to the markets we operate and sell to
Coordinate and work with external counsels both in Sweden and in different countries
Drafting, reviewing and negotiate agreements and other legal documents
Prepare data and for external and internal audits
Work closely with the Internal Sustainability, IP, Financial functions within the Company
Be the one who knows “what will come next” in the commercial legal matters



Furthermore, you would
Deliver defined and legally compliant commercial agreements
High level of compliance monitoring with laws and internal policies.
Support management in the external and internal legal reporting and communication.



About the candidate
To do this with success we believer you have at least 5-7 years of experience as a legal counsel in a commercial business environment in a company or a law firm, together with experience from an international business and market environment. It is an advantage if you have previous experience from a publicly listed environment and from consumer or industrial goods. You have a Master of Law degree from a Swedish University with business and commercial law as a speciality.
We trust you have a high degree of interpersonal skills and communicative ability – both verbally and in writing - with a very strong proficiency in English. We also see that you have an ability to put complex data into well structured and understandable format. To enjoy your new organization you need to be very receptive and well organized, have a hunger for excellence as well as a high capacity with excellent problem solving skills. You need to be able to work as a project leader in legal matters where many stakeholders are involved as well as a good understanding of business acumen. Finally you need to have a good common sense, good sense of humor and an ability to align well with our core values.
