Normative is looking for a Legal counsel
At Normative we are creating the norm for carbon accounting by providing intelligence to companies to reduce their climate footprint. We translate financial data into tangible carbon insights enabling companies to understand and reduce their carbon emission.
Our Finance team is the beating heart of the company, keeping the other departments supplied with the resources they need to carry out their roles. Without financial health, Normative disappears - and can’t help companies reach net zero.
What you will do:
As legal Counsel at Normative your objective is to provide practical, high qualitative legal advice in order to enable the company’s strategy and mission. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to corporate legal with an emphasis on our commercial product, global expansion, compliance.
- Lead all legal activities, internal and external inquiries and handle legal matters arising in the company’s day-to-day work
- Provide clear and correct legal advice and interpretation of business requirements to internal stakeholders
- Draft, review and approve contractual conditions in different contexts, such as; sales/license contracts and data processing agreements.
- Enable and support the companies global expansions in terms of legal requirements
To be successful, we believe you:
- Master degree in Law
- A minimum of 4 years experience from a corporate law firm or should have worked as in-house corporate lawyer preferably in fast growing companies within tech, financial services or banks
- At minimum fluent in Swedish and English
- A can-do mentality and the right attitude to get things done.
- Excited by working in a fast-paced, high pressure and entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects at once
Location:
We operate with a hybrid remote model with an office in Stockholm. We believe that you are based in the greater Stockholm region and can be in the Stockholm office a couple of days a week with the possibility to work remotely when it is more suitable for you and your work schedule.
