Your responsibilities:


As Legal Counsel you will play a key role in providing proactive and business-oriented legal support to the Volvo Autonomous Solutions organization with a focus on support for the technology team. This legal support mainly includes the drafting and negotiation of various complex research, development and technology license agreements as well as providing legal support with respect to privacy, IPR, open source, security, software and data matters and a broad range of other legal topics. Your responsibility also includes developing a general understanding of regulatory requirements affecting the autonomous industry, providing relevant trainings, and creating contract templates and guidelines.


Who are you?


We believe you are a proactive self-starter with good networking and communication skills. For you it is easy to connect with other people and build relationships. We also believe you have a good judgement, a strong professionalism with integrity and ability to cover a broad array of topics simultaneously. Other key competencies for the position are:
A university degree in law with experience from a law firm or as in-house legal counsel or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex international contracts combined with solid experience and knowledge in contract and commercial law.
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities and very good ability to apply business know-how in providing legal advice.
