Our first aircraft is the ES-19, a nineteen-passenger airliner with an operating range of 400 km. The ES-19 is a fully electric aircraft, and our goal is to have the aircraft certified for commercial operation by 2026.

Role Overview
We are now looking for a skilled Legal Counsel to join the legal team at Heart!
You will be the second person to join the legal team and work in close collaboration with the General Counsel, with a broad scope of legal, compliance and strategic tasks. Your main responsibilities will be related to building up the capacity of the legal team, support in all types of commercial negotiations, help building and implementing the compliance program, and all sorts of corporate related actions. The legal team is supporting all different teams at Heart Aerospace where needed within a wide range of legal matters.
Your work will consist of, but is not limited to:

Negotiating, reviewing, and drafting different kind of commercial agreements and consulting agreements in both English and Swedish

Help building and implementing our compliance program, including GDPR and export control

Support on equity investments and setting the financing strategy

Support on Heart Aerospace’s management incentive programs

IP related questions

Managing and optimizing risks

Template building and other structural work

Handling disputes and litigations
The person we are looking for has a broad experience from different areas of legal and compliance assignments and is eager to learn and take on new challenges. You will report to the General Counsel.
Qualifications & Experience

Degree of Master of Laws
-
3-5 years of relevant experience from a reputable law firm and/or an industrial company
-
You have previously worked with general corporate law and have extensive experience of reviewing and drafting commercial agreements.

Experience from building and implementing compliance programs

Knowledge about export control and GDPR
-
Knowledge of M&A, joint ventures, equity and capital market and employment law matters is meritorious

You are a business-oriented team player with good social skills

Highly organized and result-driven

Ability to understand priorities

Exceptionally good negotiation and problem-solving skills

Experience working in a start-up environment

Passionate and purpose driven

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Swedish is a plus
