We are looking for our new Legal Counsel for our Stockholm Office. You will be part of our hybrid workplace, which means you will be working partly remotely and at the office.

What is Hive Finance & Revenue Operations?

Hive Finance & Revenue Operations team, is supporting the global organization by providing a great Purchasing Journey and enabling our Sales Teams to grow, be efficient and sustain the revenue. The team consists of our CFO, Business Operations Lead, two Business Operations managers, Finacial Controller and the new (hopefully you!) Legal Counsel.

Working as a Legal Counsel

As our Legal Counsel, you will be leading our in-house legal team in Stockholm, Sweden but support the global organization. You will have a varied legal and corporate skill set, including business and financial acumen.

This is a broad role where you should be able to handle complex legal work and have an enthusiasm for business development and growth strategy. This is also a challenging but hugely rewarding role, where you will have the autonomy to define what success looks like for the legal team, and the support you require to deliver on it.  You will be reporting to the CFO but work closely with our CRO and CEO.



You will…

- Drafting, reviewing, and redlining commercial contracts


- Reviewing supplier agreements


- Company wider contract management


- Help our Sales teams all around the world.


- Being the point of contact with external legal counsel if needed


- Staying up-to-date on relevant industry, commercial, privacy and employment laws and regulations






Previous Experience

- Qualified lawyer with at least 3+ years of legal practice (either at a law firm or in-house for a reputable company)

- Contract law and commercial law experience

- High level of integrity paired with excellent judgment, supported by a point of view that is thought out and communicated well in writing and speaking

- Self-starter with a desire and comfortability working in a fast-paced start-up environment

- Ability to balance legal and commercial interests and to advise accordingly

- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership and lead

- Fluent in English and Swedish

- You prefer to work at the offce

- Digital contract management experience

- Experience in running complex and global SaaS deals

- Data privacy and Data protection experience

- GDPR, DPA and E-privacy

- ISO 27001 and SOC2

- Global entity Management

- Companywide Delegation of Authority maintenance

- Data Protection Responsible

- Negotiation skills
