Legal Counsel AI and Data to Regulatory & Compliance
The H&M Group operates more than 5000 stores in 70 countries under 9 distinct brands. We continue to expand worldwide, as one of the largest fashion companies in the world. In our ongoing and expanding business, we rely on solid relationships with our business partners.
Rapid technological development and new customer behaviors are transforming the fashion retail industry. We are on an exciting journey to meet and exceed our customers' expectations today, tomorrow and in the future.
Advanced analytics and artificial intelligence are key focus areas for H&M Group. We have one of the industry’s biggest data sets and we are combining it with advanced analytics to unlock value across the full fashion value chain. As a company, we are committed to working with data and artificial intelligence in a sustainable and ethical way. This mission is twofold: We are using the power of data and AI to reach H&M Group’s sustainability goals, and we are actively working to prevent causing unintentional harm with our AI and data-driven solutions.
We are now looking for a Legal Counsel with expertise in artificial intelligence and data to join us at the Stockholm Head Office.
You will be part of the Regulatory & Compliance team within the Group Legal function, and work in close collaboration with the AI, Analytics and Data teams at H&M Group globally. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with a passionate interest in working with regulatory compliance and public affairs in the new and developing field of artificial intelligence and data.
You will provide advice and support on a wide range of legal matters specifically related to AI and data, such as data privacy, data governance, data sharing, liability, IP rights and due diligence. You will also monitor and influence the evolving regulatory landscape for AI and data, interacting with policymakers and engaging in consultations as part of the H&M Group public affairs network.
H&M Group is a large and exciting organization with a great culture, and you will be working with dedicated and talented colleagues. At H&M Group, we believe in people and we work as one team. Our diversity makes us strong and creates an inclusive and welcoming workplace where everyone’s individuality is highly valued. The pace is fast, and we always challenge each other to think creatively. We thrive developing great people, not just great products.
This is a Full-time permanent position with start date as soon as possible.
You will preferably be based in Stockholm but we are open to look at placements in other countries if it’s not possible for you to relocate.
You will report to the Manager of Regulatory & Compliance.
