Job Description
We are now looking for a colleague to join our Group Legal team in Stockholm Head Office. This is an opportunity for someone with a genuine interest of working with law in a fast-transforming business. The H&M Group operates in more than 70 countries and continue to expand as one of the largest fashion companies in the world. With that said, it is crucial that Group Legal can enable business and mitigate risks.
In this role you will be focusing on compliance and data privacy law and be an integral part of a team responsible for the global data privacy framework applied in the H&M group. The job comes with lots of responsibility, complexity, variety – and lots of fun. You work with a high degree of autonomy being able to plan and manage your own activities fully. Your tasks will cover a broad spectrum of all privacy compliance related issues, with a global perspective in a large and exciting organization. H&M has a unique culture and you will be working with ambitious and talented colleagues while driving high level projects with stakeholders from the whole H&M Group including all our sales countries.
You will set strategies and provide legal support to the entities and teams within the H&M Group which includes:
Interact with and support all parts of our organization, such as Marketing, HR and Tech organization.
Ensure privacy by design for new initiative, projects, collaborations and processes.
Record processes and advice on how to apply privacy principles.
Support in privacy risk and impact assessment.
Have contact with vendors and partners in data transfer matters, including negotiating data processing agreements and SCCs.
Train teams and spread awareness in the privacy compliance area.

In addition to matching the personal profile we also seek the following qualifications:
You have a university law degree.
You have relevant work experience in data privacy from company, authority or law firm.
You are fluent in English both orally and in writing.
