An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented lawyer to join our Legal Affairs team, guiding and supporting activities across Tetra Pak’s businesses, especially in the development and sourcing areas.


The Legal Affairs function is headed up by the Tetra Pak Group General Counsel who leads a global team of world class senior lawyers, patent and trademark attorneys and corporate governance and risk management professionals.


The position will be based in Lund (Sweden) or Modena (Italy), and will report to the Senior Legal Counsel, Legal Affairs, Supplier Management.

What you will do
Advise stakeholders across the entire range of supply contracts (mechanical components, transport and logistic, chemicals etc.) as well as on their interaction with other regulatory areas such as competition laws and sustainability related laws.
Provide general legal, governance, risk and strategic support on a variety of business areas.
Draft and negotiate supply contracts including software licensing agreements.
Develop and support the continuous improvement of related policies, processes (including risk assessment), template agreements, notices, checklists and other tools
Train and develop business and legal colleagues in various legal and governance areas
Help to manage external legal advisers
Facilitate close teamwork with the Supplier Management team and other members of the Legal Affairs team as well as with specialists in various technology areas and other internal stakeholders.

Irrespective of the location, you will work in a global arena.

Who you are


You are a highly skilled professional with a law degree from a reputable university and 5 years’ experience working for a leading law firm and/or in-house in a multinational business of comparable size.


Experience in drafting and negotiation transactions and licences (including software licenses). Experience of keeping track of existing and emerging regulations and laws in the sustainability arena would be an advantage.


You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent drafting and communication skills.


You are a driven, resourceful and quick self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage senior stakeholder expectations. You are a strategic thinker who can apply their intellect and creativity in providing sound risk assessments and innovative legal solutions. You are practical, persuasive and a team-player with the ability to collaborate at all levels and across divisions, geographies and cultures.
