We’re looking for a Level Designer to join us.
We are looking for a Level designer to join Pet Rescue Saga, a team where you can experiment, go beyond the obvious and take the lead. Break the rules, make the rules – do whatever it takes to make unforgettable games.
As part of Pet Rescue Saga, you will have the opportunity to not only work on a game with millions of players and more than 5000 levels, but you will also be able to join a really diverse team that work hard and have fun even harder.
Pet Rescue Saga is part of the Portfolio Games team so you will also get to work with our extremely talented and creative game makers that work across our most exciting games, Farm Hero Saga, Bubble Witch 3, Candy Crush Friends & Candy Crush Jelly.
This opportunity will connect you with Level Designers working on all our 5 titles and you will come together to tackle challenges specific to the craft of Level Design.
Your role within our Kingdom
You will work on a game that is soon 10 years old and is still growing strong.
As part of a level design team, you will deliver great level experiences suited for our audience
Autonomously create, assess, rebalance and tune new and existing levels, when needed, to follow the content strategy.
Have the ability to blend creativity with methodical testing and balancing.
Understand and analyze data to be able to react quickly in a rapidly changing industry.
Be able to clearly communicate around your designs and decisions.
Contribute to creative discussions.
Remain up-to-date with Level Design best practices to continue contributing to Portfolio Games Level Design expertise.
Make proposals to improve our processes, tools, features.
Skills to create thrills
You have a great passion for games, understand the casual market and know how to think out of the box. And, of course, you understand what makes a good game.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience and/or knowledge of level design for casual games, be it individual levels or collection of them (solid understanding of game balancing and pacing).
Experience working within a Live Game production team and/or knowledge of game production best practices
