Uppsala Monitoring Centre is recruiting a License Coordinator to join our team of highly motivated customer service professionals. This is a full-time position for 12 months, based in the heart of Uppsala, Sweden. This position may be filled before the close of applications, so please apply as soon as possible!
Your role
You will help UMC achieve its business goals and objectives, and secure funding, by maximising customer satisfaction. This includes helping customers with contracts and agreements, invoicing, general administration and support, interacting professionally with a wide variety of customers – ranging from start-ups to global businesses. As a member of the License Coordination Team you will also contribute to the maintenance and development of administrative processes, control functions, data handling and client management.
Key responsibilities
- Be an active, professional intermediary between our customers around the world and relevant UMC departments, mostly via written communication.
- Ensure customers have the appropriate product license.
- Maintain and develop efficient internal processes, to maximize time spent adding value to the customer experience.
- Handle orders and other enquiries.
- Perform high quality data entry and maintenance in various systems.
- Actively contribute to a positive and open work culture that encourages collaboration within the team as well as between teams.
The successful candidate will have experience working with business and IT systems processes, agreements, and/or customer service. Familiarity using Salesforce, Visma Business or other business administration systems is an advantage. They will have an excellent command of spoken and particularly written English, and an ability to understand communication at all levels of English language proficiency. Some competence in Chinese and other languages would be useful.
Candidates should be proactive, flexible, able to see the big picture, and have great interpersonal skills. Experience in the life science sector or working in an international environment would be an advantage but is not required.
We are looking for someone with an interest in digitalization, perhaps with ongoing or completed studies related to digitalization, business administration, business development, or business law.
Candidates should be social, independent, confident, and eager to learn. Other attributes include being responsible, self-motivated, innovative, analytical, organised, and solutions oriented.
The successful candidate is required to be an EU/EES/Swiss citizen.
