The Public Dental Health Service in Dalarna consists of 20 clinics within general dentistry, clinics with orthodontic specialties, dental hospital care and our own prosthetic laboratory.

While working as a general dentist with us, you can expect a varied job where you perform all types of treatments. You will meet patients of all ages although providing preventative dental care for children and teenagers is the most important task for us.

For newly graduated students we offer an individually adapted introduction program. The program is a cooperation between your home clinic and the nearest central clinic.

The program can look like this:
During your first 6 months, you will combine performing easier treatments at your home clinic for 2 days a week with performing more advanced treatments at the nearest central clinic for 3 days per week.
The idea with spending 3 days at a central clinic is to prepare you and make you feel comfortable enough to perform such treatments at your home clinic.
You could also offer patients at your home clinic to come with you to the central clinic for further treatment.
The idea behind the program is to create a safe and a stimulating learning environment for newly graduated dentists to make sure that they get at great start as a dentist!

Candidate profile:
Finish/Danish/Norwegian Dentist License
Level C1 or similar in Danish, Swedish or Norwegian according to CEFR Levels (coe.int)
Finish/Danish/Norwegian citizenship
Good recommendations/references from previous employment
Ability to work in a team with colleagues of all professions
Great focus on qualitative work
Good communicational skills
An eager to constantly develop your professional skills
