In the role as an Account Manager, you maintain effective and long-lasting customer relationships, develop opportunities for strategic growth of the account and work collaboratively to deliver first class customer experience.

Our customers are leaders in their field and provide a broad array of innovative life science products. They operate in different segments across Life Sciences and vary in sizes. Example of focus areas: Scientific research, Pharmaceutical R&D/drug development, Food safety and Healthcare

Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range or key account

- Be accountable for achieving sales targets and driving growth

- Develop sales strategies to meet plan and expand business within assigned area

- Coordinate and cross collaborate with internal teams, to develop successful growth strategies

- Understand dynamics within each client and be able to influence decisions based on established account relationships

- Provide product consultation, demonstrate the value of the specific product and identify the most efficient solution for the client

- Manage pricing and contract negotiations, deliver quotations which show value proposition and close orders with end users as well as purchasing departments

- Be responsive to customers’ needs, as well as to conditions and trends that affect them

- Use sales tools and data to effectively report on account status, manage accounts, opportunities, pipelines and forecast in an accurate and timely manner

- Maintain awareness of competitor and industry activity

Your profile
- You hold minimum a Bachelor degree in a Life Science or Engineering discipline, with experience from the Life Science field

- You have already acquired some experience as an Account manager/ Sales Representative of Life Science products

- You have an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset

- You are results-orientated and self-motivated by the desire to win new business

- You possess the ability to explain and promote the technical aspects of the scientific product portfolio.

- You have the ability to understand clients’ requirements, to be able to articulate the most appropriate solutions.

- You are a customer orientated individual, who enjoys supporting customers and address their concerns with empathy

- You have good communication and negotiation skills in English and preferably also in Swedish and/or Danish

- You have good teamwork skills and ability to also work with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives

- You work reliably under time pressure, in fast-paced and agile environments

- You are detail oriented, with strong planning capability yet flexibility to recognize when need to try another approach

- You have the willingness and ability to travel to customer site 20-50%
