The position
In this position you will have overall responsibility for the Life Science cleaning product line management. You will be “the voice of the customer” and responsible for marketing and definition of the Life Science Cleaning product portfolio. This work will be done based on input from various market segments and will competitively define and position products, price products and promote products along with managing the market adoption and the product life cycle. As such, the Life Science Cleaning Product Line Manager “owns” the products and is ultimately responsible for their overall success and profitability. This role requires strong marketing, teamwork, leadership, and coaching skills to work within a cross-functional team and develop the product portfolio and the Strategic Marketing evidence and materials to support it. This role requires collaboration to gain cooperation of others within BCU as well as across Getinge Group without having direct line manager responsibilities.
Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
• Ensure a market driven solution offering
• Manage Subject Matter Expert team and develop marketing and Product Launch materials and content for Strategic Marketing campaigns
• Manage Business Reference team(s) as part of understanding market needs
• Drive KOL-initiatives related to market conditions e.g. Regional / Global industry and regulatory requirements
• Product Generation/Roadmap & product/technology improvement plans,
• Develop Market Requirement Specification
• Develop and track product Business Case and Budget, secure product Time to Market
• Work closely with R&D and secure platform approach
• Manage requirements and collaboration across products and services across geographical regions and segments
• Ensures timely marketing deliverables through management of development project timelines.
• Own products positioning and collateral to establish competitive features and profitable pricing models including analysis and creation of competitive data that is relevant as a sales tool
• Go to market strategy
• Product phase in and phase out plans
• Drive Product launch activities
• Orchestrate effective revenue generating marketing campaigns.
• Monitor forecast, year over year growth, and support sales by understanding challenges in lead generation and sales execution
• Own solution sales performance and overall ROI by continuous monitoring of KPIs during Life Cycle (Life Cycle Management)
• Work closely with Segment and Product Management to ensure that proper solutions are ready and deployed to the sales teams

• Pre-Sales Commercial Support
• Assist on strategic partnerships
• Driving proof of value concepts
The position is located in one of our global Getinge offices and requires 25% international travels.
The ideal candidate
As ideal for the position you have:
• A strong technical background and an understanding of the development process (either formal engineering or proven aptitude with high-tech products).
• At least 5 years of similar experience within a high-tech BtB company as an original contributor.
• A strong marketing background with a marketing degree (undergraduate or an MBA with an emphasis in marketing) and/or at least 5 years of actual hands-on marketing experience. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Life Science Business
• Previous background and experience in technical sales support and project management
• Strong knowledge and experience in Life Science business
• Successful interactions with customers, sales teams and supply chain
• Computer literacy; MS Office, CRM, etc
• Experience with international business environments
