Role Summary/Purpose
The Life Sciences Service Training Leader will help implement the Global Services Training Strategy, and act as the regional expert on all matters relating to the training function for the USCAN & EMEA regions.
Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
Implement the demand planning process and guide regional service management regarding FSE training needs in accordance with the overall Services strategy
Ensure standardized, approved training materials and delivery methods are utilized
Manage the regional training facilities to include scheduling of classes, coordinating Instructor resources, training instruments and classes.
Manage equipment ordering, inventory and the associated budget
Manage all the elements of the corporate learning management system (GELearning) for the regions to ensure regulatory compliance
Educate and enforce the Training Policy work instructions and ensure all staff are following proper protocols.
Attend regional service management meetings to communicate training updates and gather information for future training needs
Act as instructor for key courses (BioProcess, IT, Automation) in support of Flex Factory initiatives, up to 25%
Deliver OJT when appropriate, and assist in managing and executing the Job Quality Standards performance process as required
Provide input and feedback to the content development team regarding curriculum needs
Participate in Job Duty Task Analysis sessions as a subject matter expert when required

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors in applicable field or minimum some years experience in BioMedical Engineering, Field Service, or other relevant product experience.
Proven excellence in communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
Strong influencing skills across business function.
Strong leadership experience,
Able to manage ambiguity and experience leading team members in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders.
Demonstrated cross-functional project management and analytical skills.
A good working knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office software applications.
Willingness to take a drug test.
Willingness to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background.
Willingness to submit to a check of your driving record.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (where required)
Must be willing to travel up to 25%, as required.
Desired Characteristics
Previous experience as a trainer or working within a technical training function preferred
Demonstrated commitment to customer quality and customer satisfaction (in and outside of the classroom).
Experience in installation and service of GE Healthcare Life Sciences equipment.
Advanced IT skills, including networking, SQL, database functionality
Experience with qualification and verification (IQOQ)
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to identify and adjust to students who have varied learning styles.
Must be highly organized, detail oriented and able to work with teams in a fast paced, high-energy environment.
