You will also:
• Perform and communicate optical simulations and analysis reports using ANSYS Speos.
• Cooperate closely with the concept team, suppliers, and designers to reach optimal legal solutions.
• Ensure the final product by correlating simulation results with measured physical parts.
• Support projects with optical concept development and ensure high-quality products for our customers.
• Measure physical lamps and perform benchmark activities.
• Collaborate closely with Optical Engineers, Project Leads, Design Leads, Product Designers, and Perceived Quality teams.
• Continuously develop and automate workflow.
What you’ll bring
You are a self-driven individual with an insatiable curiosity, always eager to explore new ideas and challenges. Your responsive and positive attitude makes you a pleasure to work with, and your open-mindedness ensures you're always ready to learn and grow. You bring structure to your work with excellent documentation and communication skills.
To thrive in this role, we believe you:
• Hold a degree in engineering, with an interest in the field of optics.
• Have experience in optical simulation.
• Have knowledge in exterior lighting.
• Have experience in programming/scripting (e.g., Python, C).
…and it’s a bonus if you have experience in:
