ARBETSUPPGIFTER
We are establishing one of the most powerful high throughput automated analytical workflows of the industry and are looking for a LIMS Manager to oversee and implement the LIMS (Benchling) in our laboratory. This individual will work closely with TATAA scientists to outline the current research and develop custom workflows to ensure efficient data management and traceability. The position requires technical knowledge in lab data management and processing, in addition to interpersonal effectiveness required to drive a smooth implementation. This position will work closely with other core R&D functions at TATAA including; laboratory automation, IT, and bioinformatics, to provide researchers with a world class R&D platform.
Primary Responsibilities:
o Architect, develop, and support LIMS (Benchling)
o Collaborate with R&D scientists and other core functions to outline current research needs and workflows
o Build a LIMS development and implementation roadmap, providing well defined timelines and deliverables
o Effectively implement LIMS, providing ongoing training and support to laboratory staff
o Generate all the proper documentation and follow change control best practices
o Work within broader software development efforts, utilizing proper software repositories and participating in code reviews
o Ensure cohesive implementation and data integrity across laboratory automation platform
KVALIFIKATIONER
o Bachelors degree in IT, computer programming, software engineering, or related program
o Experience with Benchling is required
o 3+ years experience in life sciences IT support and/or LIMS development
o Strong interpersonal effectiveness, able to build trust and drive adoption of new software platforms
o Experience with .NET, C#, JavaScript, and Python programming languages is a plus. Automation API development experience is a plus.
