About this opportunity
Are you the next Line Manager who can contribute to Ericsson's market-leading base station products for creating crucial digital infrastructure?
Our software development unit develops the software which controls, supervises, and analyzes the base station functionality, which enables our mobile networks around the world.
We stand at the forefront of Agile software development, using methods like Lean and Scrum to create a product which excels. We are cross-functional, international, and highly independent. You will be a member of our leadership team for Common Architecture Tier (CAT) organization based in Lindholmen, Gothenburg. Our office is located right in the middle of “Gothenburg’s Silicon Valley”, a vibrant area with a mix of people from university and technology companies. The office is placed directly adjacent to the river with a wide variety of restaurants in the surroundings.
We provide SW features in the area of base station resource handling, mainly for 5G and next generations.
What you will do
Represent your group in an international, operational leadership team
Proactively collaborate with your management peers in Sweden and abroad
Interface development programs to support them with their e2e competence and staffing needs
Mentor, challenge and develop individuals, teams, and the organization
Maintain and develop the competence in your team on top-notch e2e network technologies
You will bring
Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or equivalent
Excellent leadership skills and experience in leading teams or units of very senior developers
Experience with collaborating across sites, time zones, and organizational boundaries
Interest and understanding of both people and technology
Ability to build networks across organizations and cultures
Excellent communication skills in English
