Line Manager - Chapter Lead for Public Cloud Services
Long-term Interim assignment - Stockholm
This is a full-time consulting assignment. Our customer works with cloud service technology. We are now looking for someone who thrives in the role of consultant and have experience of software engineering combined with a strong leading profile.
Main responsibilities
We’re looking for a Chapter Lead for Public Cloud services, for AWS, Azure and Google.
Line manage and support members of the chapter leading on people management processes (i.e. recruitment and promotions).
Empower chapter members to broaden their skillsets and deepen their expertise to reach their potential and improve teamwork.
Support and enable the chapter with new / emerging practices, learning opportunities and capability building.
Connect chapters to the wider community, engage as thought and action leader beyond the borders of the crew.
Work with Digital Product Leads and Agile coaches to understand and resolve challenges, seize new opportunities, and improve collaboration.
Support the broader strategy and goals of their organization to ensure chapter members are equipped to understand in their context.
Serve the chapter colleagues by helping them to contribute to their Teams and Chapters in a consistently high-quality manner.
Identifying competences from the right vendors and ensure that external capabilities follow chapter standards and ways of working.
Financial planning, forecasting, budget requests and actuals for People/Resource (Line) for the chapter.
Background and skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required. Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Management of Information Systems is a plus.
7+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer, Application Developer, Cloud practitioner or Cloud Architect.
2+ years’ experience managing, coaching, mentoring, and developing a highly motivated technical workforce.
Experience interviewing, recruiting, hiring, assessing, and retaining technical personnel.
Understanding of software methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills.
Experience working with architects and product owners to understand capacity and demands and optimizing these skills on teams.
Experience working on cross-functional initiatives and products that cover several organizations, business units or countries.
Experience in fast-paced Agile environments is a plus with chapter lead set up.
More about the assignment
You will be assigned to the customer through Intensogruppen. The assignment can also be applied by you with your own company and is expected to be a full-time long-term assignment (2022-12-31).
