Product Introduction, Deployment and Support (PIDS) in PDU Packet Core, is now looking for a Manager for the Demos and Competence Development unit.
The unit is responsible for activities related to building competence about packet core products’ capabilities. We do so by providing Demos and Hands on training for Service Delivery organizations, Market Areas and Customers. The unit has a key role for building broad 5G Core Competence across Ericsson. You will be part of the PIDS Leadership team, where we daily focus on helping our customers in pre-sales phases, projects and live operations in balance with evolving our operations for the future.
As Demos and Competence Development Manager you report to the Head of PIDS.
Responsibilities:
The PIDS Demos and Competence Development unit is the main responsible for driving and evolving our demos and competence development activities for Packet Core as we show our latest technology and SW to our customers.
We are looking for an ambitious and passionate leader, capable of operating in an environment of new and fast-moving technologies and trend-shifts. As Manager, you will contribute to strategy creation, strategy execution and continued evolution of our offerings. You will be encouraged to quickly learn new technologies, adapt programs rapidly to changing business conditions and initiate and lead changes (such as processes, tools, culture and leadership) to improve customer satisfaction, quality, time to market, continuous learning and overall performance.
Main responsibilities are:
Owning the Demo and Competence Development activities for Packet Core
Evolving our current portfolio for new technologies
Mentoring unit talents to reach full potential
In order to succeed, you need to have the following qualifications and skills:
Education: BSc / MSc
Min years of experience: 10
Domain experience: Packet Core
Good understanding how products reach our customers through sales and delivery activities in customer projects.
Solid experiences of evolving operations and formulating strategies and concepts
Good understanding of training, learning and competence development
Solid Customer Insights and Experiences
Fundamental technical competence in Packet Core with a good understanding of the landscape
Coaching & Mentoring Skills
You will need excellent Line management skills and a proven understanding of Ericsson Leadership Framework
