We are seeking a passionate leader, with expertise in the electricity transmission and distribution sector, who can provide strategic direction, lead, develop and coordinate the team. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all activities meet our requirements, including contractual obligations related to scope and on-time delivery. Your title will be Line Manager Project Manager Engineering (PME) and Civil Management, you will lead a team within the Nordic Cluster with about 15 talented engineers situated in Sweden, Finland and Denmark, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of groundbreaking customer solutions. Your Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of lead engineers and civil engineers to develop the substation engineering solutions for both power grid and industrial customers by providing guidance, mentorship and support.
Facilitate a diverse and inclusive work environment where all team members are motivated, embrace cultural differences, and collaborate harmoniously towards a shared mission.
Secure the on-time and high-quality delivery of engineering projects and tender works.
Engineering performance and KPI management, such as On Time Delivery (OTD), on budget, on quality, etc.
Take responsibility of department safety, recruitment, competence development, resource planning & allocation, budget definition & control, etc.
Support the improvement and deployment of engineering governance procedures; support the definition and implementation of strategy of Nordic Cluster Operation Unit.
HR responsibility for about 15 people.
Your background
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in the area of electrical or mechanical engineering.
At least 3 years professional line management experience in engineering, R&D or project management positions, preferably in the electrical power transmission and distribution sector.
At least 10 years experience with substations projects, 10-400kV, within the electrical power transmission and distribution sector.
Experience from site works is an advantage; good understanding of Swedish, Danish or Finish labour law is an advantage.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken is a must have. It is a plus if you speak Swedish, Finnish or Danish.
