Line Manager for Systems (658634)

About this opportunity
We are looking for a strong and passionate line manager for one of our two System sections in the DG (Development Group) CCC&A (Common Cloud Component & Automation) department of Ericsson Packet Core at Lindholmen Gothenburg. In this DG we work with industry-leading software technology in Cloud Native domain based on microservices to enable a competitive 5G portfolio. Your team consists of senior technical leaders working as System Managers and System Architects in our product development. You will report to the Head of DG CCC&A and be part of our leadership team.




What you will do
Work closely with other managers leading similar units as your own, across the global Packet Core organization
Secure System management work within DG CCC&A’s responsibility
Ensure continuous System management competence
Drive improvements of processes, methods, and tools
Build an environment that empowers and motivates people and teams to perform their best through coaching, support and clear expectations
Encouraging collaboration between your and other teams within the global Packet Core
Nurture people’s personal and professional growth within your unit
Be responsible for recruitment and staffing for your unit
Ensure technical direction are in place for DG CCC&A´s operation





You will bring
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Strong leadership and coaching skills with a genuine interest in people
Solid experience in software development and Agile, Lean and DevOps ways of working
Can do attitude, result orientation and interest to work with change management across the organization
Excellent English skills
Fundamental competence in Packet Core is an advantage
MsC in technical engineering or similar educations
