You and your team will get the mission to develop, support, operate, and maintain our core IT platforms to meet our business challenges in the short and long term. You will be responsible for maximizing the value of our IT platforms and you balance development, and life cycle management, and ensure platform functionality and stability. We will be enablers for our software development teams and will work tight together with the Development and Delivery department to deliver the best-in-class solutions to our customers.

In this role as a Line Manager, you will be able to share your passion to lead, motivate and develop a group of technical specialists supporting the continued transformation of the platform area. You will also be able to shape our future together with the team and contribute to our agile way of working.  

What you’ll do
As a Line Manager Platform you will be responsible for:
• Inspiring and empowering others; developing people and teams through coaching, mentoring, and feedback
• Removing impediments that may hinder teams’ performance 
• Creating a working environment in which uncertainty can be handled
• Energizing people; create an environment where people are motivated and happy
• Competence development for your team members; create an environment where people are challenged, invited to learn, and stay motivated
• When needed recruit and onboard new experts
• Build Platform strategy in collaboration with teams and architects
• Budget/financial follow up and vendor/contract management
• Life cycle management and platform functionality and stability

Who you are: 
To be successful in this role we believe that you have great communication skills (both in English and Swedish), and like to inspire people and challenge them to grow. This is because you will get the opportunity to interact with various stakeholders both within and outside the organization.  Building good relationships is one of your key assets and you are a good listener, have a business mind, and like working closely with other managers and teams. You are not afraid of challenges and are great at supporting people in a changing environment. New technologies are a big interest of yours and you have experience in building highly scalable platform products/solutions. We believe that you also have technical knowledge about IT infrastructure, public cloud (Microsoft Azure), IT security, IT architecture, system integration & identity & access management. We also believe you have a strong desire and experience from working within or close to the Software development and operations processes.
Position is located in Gothenburg, and the major part of the workweek is needed in the office.
