Assignment Description:
Our team is looking for a Linux Developer to be part of development that takes place mainly in C ++ and we invest a lot in testing. All planning takes place in Jira and our documentation takes place mostly in Confluence.
We attach great importance to the developer being able to see the big picture and signal risks in time for the project.
What you'll do:
● Assist in fine-tuning performance and ensuring Linux infrastructure availability.
● Create infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools and creating and keeping configuration management solutions up to date.
● In conjunction with the rest of the team, create test automation frameworks along with tools to assist teams in making the most of the available infrastructure.
● Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure, develop and maintain configuration management solutions.
● Set up configurations for network, database, and high availability services, besides designing and developing OS system configurations for software packages.
● Automate standardized steps, perform scripts, and complete instructions lists, provide sophisticated monitoring and troubleshooting for Linux-based servers that are virtualized.
● Troubleshooting procedures and technical information to identify severity of incidents and carry out accordingly the resolution process.
● Research issues that do not have a recognized solution and prepare a resolution process for them.
Who you are:
● Candidate should possess +5 years of experience with Linux and in the relevant field.
● Technical background in Embedded Linux, C/C++, Git, Arm, Cmake, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence.
● Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field from a reputed institution.
● Expected that the successful candidate will have led at least one major technically challenging global project.
