Surround yourself with a team of skilled developers as our new Linux Embedded Engineer at our site in Mölnlycke, which is 15 minutes from Gothenburg. Join forces with us as we focus on improving and maintaining a successful access control system, booking system, and entry phone system called Aptus, which is one of the most installed brands in the Multi-residential market with a wide portfolio of customers across Scandinavia!
What You Would Do As Our Linux Embedded Engineer
You will be a key part of our R&D team where there are plenty of opportunities to shape our journey along with continuous learning and development. We have a structured way of working which we try to improve constantly. In our office culture, we praise own initiatives and always inspire, guide, and challenge each other. We are located in the same building as our production site and this enables us in our goal to continually improve and maintain existing products as well as develop new features and products.
As a Product Developer, you will have the chance to interact and collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, market, production, quality, and customer support.
In this role you will also:
Propose and implement new product designs within the innovation and product development projects.
Improve our products by finding clever solutions to existing problems.
Propose and implement product customizations and fixes for customer issues.
Update and revise product-related documents such as specifications, drawings and other related R&D documentation.
Participate in quality-increasing activities and continuously improve our solutions and ways of working.
The Skills And Experience You Need
We are looking for someone who has:
Technical education within mechatronics, electronics, system development regarding software or other relevant education.
Proven industry experience and skilled in firmware development for embedded systems (C, C++, Linux, Git).
Used to working with continuous delivery and continuous integration.
Power of initiative and the flexibility to work in groups as well as independently.
Analytical and a problem solver with a structured way of working.
Fluent in English and possess some understanding of written and verbal Swedish.
