Linux System Admin

Arbetsbeskrivning

We are on a mission to become the leading force within property management and residential services. And we are looking for likeminded people to join us on this journey.

Several leading companies joined forces to form Odevo and have in less than three years grown the business more than tenfold to become a leading international player, managing more than 500 000 homes. Our ambition is to continue to grow at the same pace both organically and by attracting additional companies to join us both in Europe and on other continents.

Residential real estate is the world’s largest asset class and buying a home is often the biggest investment a person will make, but the residential property management industry is lagging behind when it comes to customer focus and digitalization. That’s why we formed Odevo.

Our software is custom-made to simplify living and to make life easier for property owners, residents and property managers. We make difficult things easy to understand and automate time-consuming tasks so people can spend more time on things that they enjoy.

Even though we are big, for us it’s all about being outstanding. We aspire to break new ground through innovation and cultivate a workplace where we can grow as individuals and have fun achieving great things together.

To continue our ambitious growth journey, we are looking for more great people to join us. Are you one of them?

About the role
Odevo´s cloud-based platform is unique and in a short time, we have established ourselves as a leading and innovative player on the market. Our product development department acts as a SaaS supplier to all of the companies in the Odevo group and several other players in the industry. The department consists of about 35+ highly-skilled engineers in Stockholm and London. As our department continues to grow in Sweden and internationally, we are looking for System admin to further strengthen the team.

We work on projects in small, cross-functional teams that are responsible for different areas where you will always be involved in decision-making. We work in agile, one to two-week sprints, where close cooperation and communication are critical. Helping each other is an integral part of Odevo’s culture, and you will play a key role in every aspect of the development process, from idea to architecture to release.

We work closely with our customers, and through cooperation and close communication, we get feedback that helps us to constantly improve. As part of our team, you will work from a holistic perspective and get a lot of space to think creatively and come up with your own solutions.

In the role of System Admin, you will be part of the development team and supervise the servers detecting and resolving issues, doing installations, maintaining, configuring, and monitoring using Linux and shell scripts.

Who you are
You enjoy working in a business that is constantly evolving and where you have the freedom to take initiative and implement your ideas. You strive for quality in everything you do, and always want to deliver your best. You are not concerned with prestige and enjoy working in a team environment.

Experience
- At least five years of experience as a Linux System Admin or similar role
- Experience in network topology, routing, and setting up new interfaces.
- Experience with several technologies from our stack Azure, Docker, Grafana, Zabbix and MySQL.
- Bonus points if you have worked in PropTech or FinTech before.
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
