The Role:

- GNU/Linux operating system administration
- TCP/IP Networking, understanding and configuration of switches, load-balancers and routers
- Daily maintenance of hardware and software
- Capacity planning
- Improvements of hardware and software setup
- Automation of common tasks
- Monitoring and troubleshooting
- Change management
- Technical troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Assisting developers in the dev and staging environments
- On-call duty
- Backup and recovery planning and testing
- Installation/replacement of common server hardware
- MySQL Database maintenance and tuning
- General computer and network security awareness
- DNS administration
- Java virtual machines administration

We think that you are:

- Highly experienced in system administration
- Structured and good at prioritizing
- Problem solver
- Experienced in working with Data warehouse
- Self driven and keen to learn
- Service minded approach to work

it would also be a pure bonus if you have:
experience of large scale MySQL installation and Hadoop
experience of BGP configuration
