Our Exciting Opportunity
We are growing our Dedicated Networks team in Göteborg or Aachen that works on backend R&D activities related to the Industry Connect product. In addition to working with the local team at the Lindholmen/Aachen site, you will also interact and collaborate with colleagues around the world.

We are now looking for an Experienced/Senior Linux System Administrator to evolve and ensure the evolution of one of Ericsson’s most exciting and disruptive products.
You will
Drive strategic technical leadership
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
Develop and test high-quality products
Provide troubleshooting and customer support
Drive continuous improvements in products
Develop competence in the technical domain
Report to Advanced Industries Development Manager
To be successful in the role you must have
Minimum 10 years of experience with Linux System Administration
Deep knowledge of one of the following distributions: SUSE - CentOS/Red Hat
Solid network understanding
Linux kernel network stack knowledge (XDP would be beneficial)
Advanced Routing and Switching knowledge (including VIPs)
Network application development experience
DPDK Applications skills
Throughput intensive applications skills
Scripting languages skills, preferably Python
Preferred qualifications
Cluster setup and configuration as well as the deployment of workloads experience
Deployment of workloads with Helm experience
Container creation skills
Kubernetes and CNI networks experience
Saltstack experience
Microservices architecture experience
DevOps exposure
Full-stack understanding
Performance analysis and tuning experience
Useful experience and knowledge
Git and GitLab
CI/CD & Jenkins
