Live-Out Butler

Live-Out Butler to the Embassy Of The United Arab Emirates, Stockholm

We are looking for an experienced Butler at the Ambassador's residence with respon-sibilities for all tasks related to care of the residence and its guests.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
. Arranging all dining and entertainment for the Ambassador's family and their guests
. Preparing breakfast and afternoon tea
. Formal table service and service of drinks
. Clear table when guests are done with the food or drinks
. Cleaning of silver, Chinaware and crystal
. Flower arranging and table decorations
. Meeting and greeting guests
. Preparing and planning events and functions at the Residence
. Catering to the needs of guests by learning about their likes, dislikes, allergies, etc.
. Have adequate knowledge of various drinks and foods in stock. Assess and re-stock when necessary
. Work with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food to guests
. Mise en place
. Maintaining safety and hygiene at all times
. Valeting, including clothing and shoe care
. Care of clothing, including packing and unpacking for travels and ensuring all wardrobes are organized
. Covering for nanny or housekeeper when they are on leave (this includes clean-ing the residence and caring for 3 young children below the age of 5)

Qualifications and Requirements:
. High school graduate
. Excellent health
. Experience working in an environment with children will be advantageous
. Presentable appearance and professional attitude
. Driver's license is a plus
. Authorization to work in Sweden
. Swedish or French proficiency is a plus
. Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
. Discretion and confidentiality are mandatory
