Our Group Legal Function is hiring a Legal Director to join our team and the journey we are on. The Group Legal team consists of six lawyers and is located in our headquarters in Sickla, Sweden, as well as in Zug, Switzerland.

What you will be doing

Together with the other legal counsels in the Group Legal team you will be providing legal advice on all aspects of the Intrum Group´s legal matters. Intrum makes significant investments in debt portfolios from financial institutions and large companies and regularly acquires companies across Europe. Much of your working time will be dedicated to such transactions where you will be working closely with the commercial teams, local Intrum lawyers and law firms. In addition you will be contributing to our Group-wide transformation program, supporting our company to lead the way. You will be working within a wide range of business law matters with some focus on transactions and company law. The head office is located in Stockholm but the work is spread geographically and is very international. The position will involve some travelling internationally.

What we are looking for

You have a Swedish or foreign LL.M. degree followed by 4-7 years of experience of international business law, preferably with focus on M&A and company law from a law firm or as an in-house legal counsel. A requirement for succeeding in this job is experience from working in an international environment and being fluent in English. We expect you to be driven, independent and a person able to take initiatives. You are genuinely interested in exploring the business activities and you have a solution-focused mind-set. Important qualifications are abilities to cooperate and communicate. We want you to be a person with integrity but also easy to work with. You are positive and committed, enjoy providing good customer service and working in an international and eventful environment.
