What do we offer?
Volvo Cars Propulsion Components, is a section within Manufacturing Engineering at Volvo Cars. We develop and implement quality assured, flexible and effective production systems in our plants worldwide. The section is working cross functionally and project oriented, supporting all Volvo Car Corporation´s production plants and car programs locally and globally. 

What’s in it for you
As our Local Domain Coordinator (LDC), you will be on-site business contact and spokesperson. You will be part of virtual global team with LDC's from other plants and you will facilitate global alignment of digital developments, exchanging lessons-learned, suggestions for enhancements, and best-practice-sharing. You will be part of specific global business-domain-community, such as production, quality, maintenance and in-plant-logistics within Manufacturing.
The position is based in Skövde. 

What will you do?
As our next Local Domain Coordinator, you will be responsible to evaluate, review and document internal request for enhancements or new features. You will also ensure that User-Acceptance-Tests (UAT) are executed when requested by Global Domain Lead. It will be within your scope to approve or reject access-requests, periodically check relevance access-rights, demand ‘emergency - changes’ when appropriate, in collaboration with business-stakeholders & IT, and inform global domain lead. 

Local Domain Coordinator acts as on-site business contact for local colleagues. This includes on-site support & training in case of new deployments, troubleshooting digital incidents, business configurations. You will be part of preparations for quarterly global PI-event (e.g. balanced prioritization, specifications of local requests, …) Also, you will be the main on-site contact person for global domain-leads and participate in recurring global LDC-meetings. This includes participation in UAT’s on request for evaluation & testing of new or changed applications, communicate & document suggestions for enhancements & innovations. You will promote usage of preferred applications and overview correct integration & usage.

Do you fit the profile?
We believe you have capability to build, strengthen and maintain internal network and you are able to act as global representative for home-organization. You have good knowledge of business processes and routines that are supported by applications in the LDC’s scope. We believe that you have good knowledge and insight on local initiatives (such as planned process-changes, innovations, ….) You are able to describe local business requirements & specifications, as base for global alignment and specifications towards IT.

As a person we believe you have great communication skills, and you collaborate well with others. You have good analytical skills but also a creative side and strong will to explore new things.
