You will be part of High Voltage Breakers, a business unit within ABB Power Grids in Ludvika. High Voltage Breakers has a worldwide ABB responsibility for development, production and sales of high voltage breakers for power systems within both AC and DC.
As the Local Product Manager, you will play a key role within the HV Breakers team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will support Business results by overseeing all steps in the product life cycle including development, launch, maintenance, pricing and profitability of High Voltage Breakers in a global market.
Your responsibilities
Managing both the launch of new High Voltage Breakers, and the life cycle from phase-in to phase-out.
Collaborating with internal Marketing and Sales teams to define marketing plans, including marketing communication activities, training activities and sales initiatives.
Driving profitability and life cycle of High Voltage Breakers in collaboration with Marketing & Sales team by defining pricing guidelines and market position.
Working closely with Research & Development (R&D) to propose and evaluate product feasibility projects and roadmaps for new High Voltage Breakers.
Providing technical and commercial support to the wider Sales team in critical or special negotiations.

Your background
A university degree in engineering field or similar.
Relevant experience in field of High voltage products or similar, with a clear interest in both customers, market and technology.
Experience in product and/or service marketing and sales strategy.
Knowledge and experience of customers in power grids market as well as high voltage products is highly valuable.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with strong communication and customer-relationship-building skills.
