A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
As a Localisation Programme Leader you are responsible to ensure that our customers, stakeholders, and co-workers have a native experience across all platforms. Further, you are ensuring all content and communication for the country aligns with IKEA tone of voice across all channels and according to the guidelines provided by the Franchisor. You are driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where our co-workers are informed, engaged, and empowered.
You are owning and driving the Localisation strategy in alignment with Ingka communication strategic plan and with the business growth agenda. You are partnering with key stakeholders across IKEA to define the cross-functional and cross-organisational dependencies on localisation and provide optimal solutions.
Some of your main responsibilities include:
• Leading, coaching and supporting the network of localisation specialists across 30 Ingka countries
• Stakeholder Management across Group Communication matrix and further Ingka functions
• Being responsible for localisation function’s future setup, succession planning, training needs and performance evaluation – guarantee a successful blueprint implementation
• Managing and reviewing performance of global localisation vendors and implementing centralized vendor strategy together with procurement
• Defining and implementing linguistic quality assurance framework across Ingka languages
• Selecting and driving adoption of relevant automation tools and technologies in localisation domain in collaboration with Digital
• In line with the Ingka Communication performance metrics, defining and implementing localisation metrics for reporting, monitoring, and evaluating the stakeholder satisfaction score
• Providing solutions and guidance to potentially challenging global localisation projects by participating at early stages of campaign conceptualization and ideation to drive a ‘global from the start’ mindset
• Being the ambassador for localisation knowledge and evangelise best practices and its value to the organisation
This role is an open-ended contract and will be located in Malmö, Sweden.
