Job Description
As a Localization Software Engineer, you will work in a team that delivers translation technology cross-brand and globally for H&M Group and you will be the Application Expert for our CAT tool. One day could start with supporting a merchandising team in Korea about translating a text with marketing specific requirement, and end with workshop exploring tech support for a new translation feature to support a new e-com platform.
Currently we’re 5 people in the team, we have developers, business expert and product manager and we use Smartling as our CAT tool. Our team’s mission is:

Responsibilities:
Identify, implement, and manage state-of-the-art translation tools and applications, including machine translation, AI-driven solutions, and CAT tools, to enhance content quality and streamline workflows
Evaluate and refine existing translation workflows to maximize efficiency, scalability, and accuracy across all platforms
Communicating with product management and other teams about interfaces and dependencies
Engaging with various stakeholders on different topics, including end users support through training sessions and workshops
All aspects of application management at an enterprise level, including client/server installations, configurations, packaging, deployment, maintenance, and support
Qualifications
Proven hands-on experience in translation technology, application management and/or language processing
Proficiency in translation software, machine translation engines, and API integrations.
Knowledge on AI and neural network-based translation tools
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex workflows for continuous improvement
Knowledge of Software testing, quality assurance, and solutions testing, including automation
Document software solutions and ensure that technical documentation meets H&M standards
Multitasking ability to work both independently as well as in a team setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
