Job description
The Location Controller is responsible for the site accounting function, working with the local Financial Service Unit (FSU) in Sweden and the European Shared Service Centre (ESSC) in Poland to ensure compliance with Parker’s control environment expectations and accurate, timely reporting. The role is part of the location management team in Borås and have a reporting line to the Division Controller.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide technical accounting advice to functional or operational managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports and manage their financial responsibilities.
• Managing the relationships with and the service levels of the FSU based in Borås and the ESSC based in Wroclaw.
• Maintenance of controls required by Parker and Sarbanes Oxley.
• Ensuring continuous compliance with Parker operational and accounting procedures.
• Accurate and timely reporting of the monthly financial results and subsidiary information.
• Driving improvements and Lean Accounting and Lean Office.
• Preparing and submission of timely and accurate plans and forecasts.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of local and divisional processes.
• Supporting the submission of accurate and valuable capital investment requests.
• Working on projects as defined by the Division Controller.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure that the general ledger is accurate and complete.

Your profile
We believe that you are an experienced accountant with at least 5 years experience, probably from a complex manufacturing environment and are looking for a next challenge to grow in a future oriented and innovative company.
