At our unit in Arendal, Gothenburg, aprox 400 employees are working with assembly, injection moulding and painting for the automotive industry.
ABOUT THE JOB
The job is located at Plasmans factory in Arendal, Gothenburg within the logistics organization.
The logistics department at Plasman is responsible for taking home material, planning of production, goods receiving and internal material handling. The logistic department is also responsible for packaging of items to smaller customers and keeping contact with all our customers regarding deliveries.
Logistic Engineering handles improvements and projects that have an impact on the logistics process.
MAIN TASKS
A big part of the work is to assess and implement changes and develop the existing logistics process. The work also include contacts and collaboration within the Plasman organization, including reports to central functions within Plasman.
You will participate in projects related to logistics and prepare for changes and improvements within the logistics process, eg layouts, flows, time and capacity improvements. Furthermore, you are responsible for update documentation and working instructions in case of changes and quality assure product- and process changes through control plans, risk assessments and FMEA.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a bachelor degree within engineering or equivalent with focus in logistics.
You have very good knowledge and experience from working with logistic processes and experience of implement/coordinate logistics projects within the manufacturing industry.
You are skilled using different digital tools, computer and it is an advantage if you have working with SAP. Since our corporate language is English, It’s a requirement that you to communicate freely, orally and written, in both English and Swedish.
PERSONAL QUALITIES
We will put great emphasis on your personal qualities when we appoint for this position. You are analytical and structured and have the ability to independently drive the work forward towards good results.
You will work and have contacts with many functions and areas within the company, therefore it is important that you are a good communicator and a good listener. You also have the ability to lead employees even if you do not have direct personnel responsibility.
