Logistic Engineer

Aurobay is looking for a Logistic Engineer. You will be a part of section Local Line & Equipment, which is responsible for the realization phase of projects within Aurobay. The section consists of around 20 employees divided in 3 different competence areas (project lead, intelligent factory & logistic engineering). The group supporting both Aurobay and Volvo Cars business in Skövde plant.

Aurobay brings together Volvo Cars' powertrain business with Geely to develop and produce world-class powertrain solutions for a global market.

What will you do?

As a Logistic Engineer you will develop and optimized new and existing transport methods internally. You will be a part of cross functional team.

You will:

- Develop and optimize new and existing outbound logistic solution

- Create instructions for production

- Create logistic layout

- Perform time study

- Master data preparation in SAP

- Be an active partner to the Plant in the strive towards Vision Plan and contribute to best practice sharing teams.

Do you fit the profile?

We believe you have an engineering degree from a college, university or equivalent. It is meritorious with experience in Production Engineering and Lean Culture.

You are fluent in English and Swedish and skilled user in software. As a person we believe you are independent and driving with analytical ability and open for changes. You have project management skills for handling complete assignments and implementations with good ability to coordinate and cooperate with R&D, Suppliers, Customers and cross functional team members
