Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.Scania has taken the strategic decision to set up a 3rd industrial hub in China - a project to develop and implement full-scale assembly operations has been initiated within Scania Production & Logistics. IT is a crucial part of this project as Scania’s success depends on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements. One of the factories that is at the forefront of this transformation is Logistics and we are looking to hire you as our IT coordinator in Logistics.

Your profile
You have experience working with IT and a good knowledge of Scania´s current Logistics systems. To reach this competence level we believe you have a strong interest in technology that also extends into your everyday life.
To succeed in your assignment we believe you are structured in your way of working when it comes to planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work and in the tasks that you coordinate.
You are service-minded and enjoy helping others and can, using your pedagogical ability, translate hard-to-grasp information into easily understood communication.
We also believe that you have a strong analytical mindset that can be put to use in problem-solving complex issues, you can take a complex problem break it down, and solve its different causes at the root.
Your Role
The role of IT coordinator in Logistics is essential and hugely varied. From providing support for our colleagues in minor activities such as supporting them with knowledge of what software or hardware to order to coordinate major incidents where our operations are at a standstill.
In special for this role, logistics has a strong dependency on IT. The synchronicity of changes in different software and hardware shall be planned precisely with the main project in China.
The main responsibilities will be:
• Coordination of the IT-related activities and events that affect the Logistics introduction plan
• Risk management from the Logistics IT perspective
• Change management
• Support the project organisation related to the escalation of topics and incident coordination
• IT expense follow-up and improvement
• Supporting colleagues in need of IT competence
Your skills
You are an open-minded, reliable, highly motivated, and proactive team player who likes to work in an international and diverse as well as fast-changing environment.
• Experience working with and within heterogeneous teams and specifically global projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experienced in multi-channel transformation projects and change management advantage
• Fluent in English
