We are looking for a Logistics Manager
The logistics manager is essential for the development of cost effective and reliable logistic flow within the whole group. There is significant international focus within the job where knowledge of international commerce, finance and import/export regulations is essential. You will be responsible for special projects with the intention to improve our efficiency. You will be the logistic specialist and lead the strategic work as well as hands on work. In this position you report to the Vice President Operations and Development, for the Group.

The work includes


• Supply reliability, focus on core products – Optimize stock level (components, semi-finished products, finished products)

• Evaluate and implement the most cost effective logistic flow, i.e. central stock vs local stock, daily deliveries vs low transportation costs.

• The Logistics Manager must have knowledge of national and international import/export legislation and must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation.

• You must also build relationships with the suppliers, customers, subsidiaries and freight forwarders.

• The Logistics Manager will be required to handle technical details relating to possibly international transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation.

• Internal logistics, optimize flow within manufacturing and warehouse (lean thinking)

• You will be responsible for the work to optimize the lead time for the Sterilization process.



Background

Engineer or finance degree on University level
Logistic or Supply chain specialist
8-10 years working progress in different industries
MS Excel Super User and understanding of ERP systems (SAP)
