Logistic Manager EMEA

We are now looking for a Logistic Manager EMEA who will be responsible for managing the inbound and outbound logistics in EMEA including the of Distribution Centers to support the overall business objectives.

The role also manages the inbound forwarders to the various sites where development of processes, tools for preventive, accurate and cost-effective planning of the Operational sites support an unmatched user experience and operational excellence.

Key duties:

- Drive Distribution Centre (DC) performance & reporting, ensure contractual obligations and compliance as these are operated by 3rd parties.
- Tactical in- and outbound transportation and logistics management
- Collaborate with the Permobil Group Function Supply Chain on inbound & outbound logistic solutions and safeguard the regional need
- Act as an escalation liaison between Customer Support and the DCs plus outbound forwarders for systematic issues
- Drive initiatives and tools to provide better visibility of the total supply chain (in- & outbound)
- Monitoring to ensure accurate transportation lead-times in systems and standard deviations
- Orchestrate information, for Customer Support to do self-service, around delivery information for goods being shipped from DCs
- Drive and propose packaging improvements that works from supplier to customer
- Manage custom clearance partners and areas connected to inbound and outbound customs within EMEA
- Develop and support the incoming inspection and warranty process from a logistics process and system stand-point
- Manage and develop the processes for goods receiving value-added work and shipments from the Distributions Centres.
- Continuously development and maintain the procedures and work instructions


Your Profile:

- Master’s degree/MBA in business, operations, logistics, supply chain, or related field
- Experience in materials, logistics, and/or supply chain management; automotive industry experience preferred.
- Experience in preparing, analysing, and managing departmental expenses, including profit and loss statements Strong Logistics and Transportation management experience
- Strong MRP knowledge required (Microsoft Dynamics AX is preferred)
- Ability to implement and lead projects across multiple groups
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
