Logistic Specialist

IKEA Components task within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range.We create substantial cost-and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and trade of raw materials, components and fittings.IKEA Components is part of the IKEA group and share the IKEA vision and values.Our business is global and we are 750 employees based in Sweden, Slovakia and China.Through co-operation with IKEA Trading Offices we are in addition represented at several other sites around the world.We are now looking for a Logistic Specialist.The Logistic Specialist will work with the total goods flow within IKEA Component Group.The aim is to create unique benefits to the total IKEA Supply Chain.The assignment: .Secure the total transport capacity according to IKEA Components needs .Secure and develop an active win-win relation with our service providers .Secure the agreed solution, service and quality to lowest possible cost .Secure the IWAY staircase for our service providers .Develop and monitor all transport processes and system support .Contribute to develop efficient logistics within the IKEA Components Supply Chain .Coach and develop the functions within the physical goods flow dimension .Contribute to the development of Order Request Fulfillment globally .Create and implement the Business & Action Plan regarding logistics.The knowledge: .University degree (Transport, Logistics, Economy) or equivalent working experience .Preferably experienced in managerial position .Very deep and broad knowledge about the Supply chain .Fluent in English .Movable .Self-propelled The position will initially be placed in Älmhult, but it is important that you see yourself as movable in the future.
