Logistic Specialist

The Utility organization at Svea Solar is dedicated to revolutionizing the energy sector through building large-scale solar parks. As one of the leading providers in the industry, we are committed to sustainability and driving change. To continue our journey in ridding the planet of fossil fuels, we are looking for our first Logistic Specialist to handle our large projects.

The Role
As a Logistics Specialist at Utility, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the movement of materials, equipment, machinery, and resources to ensure the seamless execution of our solar projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all logistics aspects of our larger solar park projects, from planning and procurement to efficient delivery to project sites. Collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and external partners such as 3PLs, subcontractors, and service providers will be key to your success.

You will collaborate with your closest colleagues, the Project Managers and Site Managers, to forecast logistics needs and develop efficient supply chain solutions. - Plan and execute logistics strategies for the transportation and distribution of materials, equipment, and machinery to construction sites and warehouses.

- Manage inventory levels and track the movement of construction materials to prevent shortages or excesses.

- Implement cost-effective transportation and warehousing solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability. Negotiate contracts to reduce overall logistics costs.

- Oversee documentation, including shipping manifests, customs documentation, and compliance records.

- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

- Implement and maintain system support for above activities and financial reporting.

You should also be fluent in Swedish and English because both are needed in this role.
