Sandvik Mining and Construction (SMC) is a world leading supplier of equipment and complete solutions for the mining and facilities industries.In Sweden, we have facilities from Kiruna in the north to Svedala in the south.Sandvik Mining and Constructions production unit in Svedala produces rock crushers used in mining, quarries and contracting.The site is divided into three main areas of operation: Wearparts, Parts and Assembly.We are now looking for a Logistics Analyst for our operation.Key performance areas As a logistics analyst you will be responsible for: - Continuous analysis of the supply & delivery process, from vendor through distribution, in order to ensure SMC targets for cost & availability are achieved.- Applying supply chain planning information, through analysis, in order to understand & anticipate changes in performance.- Designing management reports.- Analysis of inventory parameters related to forecasting, replenishment planning, distribution, and stocking, to ensure the proper levels of inventory & service.- Support projects through data collection & analysis.- Monitoring & reporting KPIs - Projects & other tasks as required - Supervising the global implementation of a new application for Global Inventory Data Warehouse - Managing the process for collection of Sales Forecast related data Your profile To be successful in this position you will need a university or college degree, preferably with specialization in data management or information systems and three to five years in a similar role, preferably with some experience working with data management, analysis and reporting within a logistics environment.You must also have experience working with key concepts and practices related to forecasting, inventory management and distribution planning.The role requires a minimum of two to three years experience in a logistics environment.You should have some experience working with an ERP system, such as System 21, SAP or similar. As a person you have good communication skills and are analytical, mathematical and very good at organizing reports and designing analysis.You must also be an advanced user of Microsoft Access and Excel, good at solving process and systems related problems and have experience working with database management and report tools.The position requires written and oral communication skills in the English language as well as a strong personal driving force. Annual sales 2009 amounted to about SEK 32,600 M, with approximately 14,400 employees.
