We are looking for a Logistics and Operation specialist to support our Lab director with the coordination of our technical activities (including sample shipments, logistics management, procurement, etc.) and customer services.
You will be reporting to our Laboratory Director, and your main responsibilities will be to facilitate the smooth run of the day-to-day service and operations management.
That includes
• A hands-on monitoring of shipments and when needed follow-up on outstanding inbound/outbound (e.g. patient samples, sampling material)
• Build and maintain close collaboration with our subcontractors and vendors for courier services
• Review and approval of service invoices from subcontractors
• Drive issue resolution
• Optimise logistics solutions for ongoing projects
You will support our monthly performance reporting. Further, our ideal colleague can take on an advisory role and collaborate with our Business Development team for provision of specialist level tender input on logistics solution/setup and assist in negotiations with suppliers for our GCP studies and other pharma project.
Finally, we are looking for someone to help increase operational agility, role-model collaboration, and foster “a can-do attitude” culture.
WHO ARE YOU?
We are looking for an agile and a meticulous planner with a strong collaborative mindset, a can-do attitude, and a desire to create real impact! You are not afraid to take on responsibility and enjoy dealing with many tasks in parallel. You can work effectively alone as well as in teams.
Basic requirement
• You have a relevant educational background. Maybe within the mercantile field or similar at Bachelor level or a Diploma Graduate
• Knowledge from handling of air service/courier is required (IATA certification preferred)
• Working experience from a laboratory or similar business with the shipment of biological samples
• Working knowledge of GLP and/or GCP
• IT knowledge at user level is required
• English and Danish, other European languages are desirable
