Vestas Northern Europe A/S is establishing new head office in Malmo in 2008.Vestas Northern Europe A/S is our Sales Business Unit for Scandinavia, UK Poland and the Baltic's and we are responsible for Sales, Project and Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these countries.Our customers can mainly be found among larger power supply companies and professional investors, but also among private investors.For our new head office in Malmo and to handle the growth in our business we are searching for new employees who will be part of developing Vestas Northern Europe A/S.The Service Department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind farms within Sweden and Sjælland.The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our success.You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees. Responsibilities and tasks Our new employee in Logistics and Warehouse will plan, direct, and coordinate the storage and distribution of spare parts and materials for Vestas service for the region.Your tasks will primarily be: Sparepart and tools Management: -Order generic stock (lubricants etc.) -Confer with planning and vendors regarding stock procurement and availability.-Determine sequence and release of back-orders according to stock availability.' -Keep track of shared tools (arrange for repair or replacement if needed) -Arrange for disposal or return faulty components -Advise on the appropriateness of parts, supplies, or materials requested.-Order tools needed for turbine jobs for service Warehousing: -Pack and unpack items to be stocked -Receive and count stock items, and record data -Periodically check inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock.Investigate discrepancies -Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse -Mark stock items appropriately -Supervise and train (optional) attendant Distribution: -Issue or distribute materials, products, tools, parts, and supplies to field engineers and customers -Keep local stock throughout Sweden supplied in accordance with turbines types to be serviced -Collect and follow up on calibrated tools no.Application for this position will be handled by Adecco.You can apply for the job through the web page of Adecco.
