We are now seeking a Logistics- & Warehouse Manager for BSH Home Appliances AB in Stockholm. 

We offer:

The opportunity to run and develop the logistics departments within the Nordic Countries;
-  Ensuring the entire logistics chain including distribution for home appliances in full for in-house operations for
   own warehouse and external operated warehouse in Denmark and customs for imports and exports.    You will have the managerial responsibility for a team of approx. 70 employees placed in both Nykvarn
   and Solna. 




Your tasks include:·        


• Maintain logistics operations in full by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs.
You will work both operational, strategical and with personnel policies and procedures.
      
• Comply with federal and state law as well as local and corporate rules and guidelines in both material handling and shipping requirements.
Studying existing and new legislations to enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
     
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
         
• Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
         
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts;
inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
      
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget;
scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
        
• Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
      
• Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
       
• Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
     
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
   
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 

Your profile:

• You have a university degree or have the corresponding relevant education

• You have at least 5-7 years of experience working with similar tasks

• You have at least 2-3 years of managerial experience

• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially in Excel, SAP skills are meritorious

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
