Logistics Coordinator

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Logistics Coordinator with focus on outbound shipments to join our excellent and passionate team at Northvolt Labs in Västerås.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will focus on making sure all the inbounds and outbounds of Northvolt Labs are well processed and will have a special attention on guaranteeing we have all the materials ready for production.
Together with colleagues: Internal Logistics, Logistics Procurement, Developers and Coordinators, you will partake in purchasing activities as well as secure processes and resources necessary for operational deployment and execution
You:
Generally speaking, you have experience in working operationally with shipping, transport, and warehousing. You are familiar with the administrative side of the logistical process, documentation required to dispatch, clear customs, receive and store cargo.
You also appreciate the importance of adequate packaging to ensure safety and sound condition of the product in transit, as well as the warehouse. Ideally you had the opportunity to work with and have a good understanding on how to use different systems and modules (ERP/WMS/TMS) to support logistical planning and execution.
Experience in shipping and handling of DG and familiarity with the applicable laws and regulations within the transportation and warehousing will be considered a plus.
When joining Northvolt, you would be partly focused on supporting the team in the arena of execution. Together with other Northvolt departments, in need of logistical support you would plan, organize, and oversee shipping activities. Beyond the operational aspect, you would be engaged and support team members in various development projects.

In your job you will:

- Book and monitor inbound and outbound transportations
- Align with several stake holders to ensure material for production deadlines
- Provide support in inventory management
- Work in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. carriers, suppliers) to solve operational deviations, monitor performance and propose improvement plan

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
Bachelor, Master’s degree, vocational education in supply chain or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a supply chain/ logistics/ transportation coordinator
Solid knowledge of how to book and monitor shipments.

Specific Skills/Abilities
Excellent English, written and oral. Swedish/Chinese/Korean/Japanese is a plus.
Good knowledge of computers and systems: ERP, WMS, TMS (preferably D365 suite), MS Office
Basic knowledge of logistics compliance (import and export documentation/ rules)
Experience in working with dangerous gods is a plus.
High-level of stress management and a problem-solving attitude.
