This is a rare opportunity to become a member of our exciting team as we’re looking for an enthusiastic Logistics Coordinator with exceptional people skills and who will be hands-on with technology.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coordinate and be responsible for the smooth running of the drivers’ Fleet on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
On-board new drivers
Provide training and ensuring all members of the team are equipped with the necessary knowledge and software in order to run the check ins, runs training sessions and briefing meetings
Act a first point of contact for the team on the ground
Assist with troubleshooting
Update Rota and monitor attendance and timesheets; workforce allocation
Verify timesheets and pass them to Payroll team for processing
Leading the day, planning the day, coordinate the team
Work closely and liaise with other departments such as – Payroll, Finance, HR or Sales as well as guests and clients if necessary
Follow up on issues and issue resolutions
Monitor the team on daily basis
Implementing rational improvements of the processes
Ensuring all updates, changes of Standard Operating Procedures are communicated to all members of the team
Performing evaluations of the team members in constructive way
Project management skills are essential but not required
Producing End of the day reports - Security deposits, KPIs input, Planning for the next day
Liaising with Controllers in case a resolution has to be brought forward with particular action steps



Requirements
Problem solver
Customer Service orientated with excellent telephone manner
Passionate, enthusiastic and helping attitude at all times
Strategic thinker
Being able to work under pressure
Weekend shifts are not an issue for you
Knowledge of delivery sector will be a plus
Previous experience in a similar role will be good, but not essential
