We are now recruiting a Logistics Coordinator, Europe, to our Group Operations TeamGroup Operations (GOPS) drives operational efficiency by running centralized operations and implementing common systems and processes.The Logistics Coordinator is part of the GOPS/Group Logistics function that is responsible for delivery models and operating finished goods stocks and trans-shipments outside factories. We use Monitor, our ERP system, extensively to manage orders, stocks and deliveries across all the entities.
Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
As the Logistics Coordinator you plan and coordinate deliveries from finished goods stocks and trans-shipments via delivery hubs to EU and non-EU customers, including customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa. You work in close collaboration with freight carriers and Optinova customer service, both in our sales offices and factories. This is an essential role, as you work in core delivery operations that have a direct impact on customer deliveries and invoicing. Your responsibilities include the following: Define optimal finished goods stock levels for European market. Coordinate stock replenishment. Manage trans-shipments and related agreements. Follow-up and improve stock management. Follow-up and ensure smooth importation of products to EU. Coordinate outbound deliveries from stocks and delivery hubs. Book shipping from freight carriers. Prepare export documentation and make export declarations. You can be located in one of our offices in Limburg (Germany), Uppsala (Sweden) or Mariehamn (Åland, Finland).
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
To succeed in this job, you need the following: Work experience in logistics, transportation, stock planning, purchase order processing, using ERP system, supplier auditing and EU export/import practices. BSc level studies in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or similar. Understanding of tubing or similar industrial products. Good social skills in order to build trust and collaboration and to network both within the Optinova group and with logistics partners. Ability to build a holistic understanding of the Optinova organization and business. Be comfortable with working in the ERP system on a daily basis. Ability to manage several open topics and working under pressure. Fluency in English. German, Swedish and other European languages are to great advantage.
