Logistics Developer

We are looking for an analytic and structured Logistics Developer with a passion for driving efficiencies within cross functional/cross company processes, systems, tools and our ways of working.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden.

Who is your future team?
Axis Logistics team has the main responsibility for all transports globally from and to our Configuration and Logistics Centers, currently located both within EU, Asia and the USA.

What you'll do here as a Logistics Developer?
Your role as our Logistics Developer will be to work both with internal and external stake holders to ensure that we have overall aligned processes from specific origins, where we require to work on specific Operating Procedures. You will work closely with other team members for pricing reviews, implementation of new suppliers into our transport administration system as well as for backup in areas that you are supporting other team members.

Your main responsibilities are:

* Identify and drive improvements and efficiencies in processes, systems, and tools, both internally and through our external contacts.
* Develop relevant documentation of processes and instructions.
* Optimize processes and ways of working by actively collaborating with relevant departments within Axis or Logistics Suppliers to find synergies and dependencies to support the company's growth ambitions.
* Be an active contributor to the development of the department by sharing ideas, benchmarks, and best practices.
* Support the logistics team in taking next steps in digitalization transformation.
* Work cross functionally with all processes both for inbound and outbound freight.

Be the speaking partner on logistics related questions to other departments within your area of responsibility.

Who are you?
We are looking for a self-driven team player who finds it easy and stimulating to work both with internal and external partners and finding solutions together. You are analytic, well-structured and you can see at the big picture but has a full understanding of the details. You have experience working with cross functional, diverse teams and feel ready for the next step in your career.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

* A degree in Industrial Economy, Business, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
* Detail oriented and analytic skills, being able to process and analyze big amount of data to support fact-based decisions within the team.
* Advanced Excel knowledge.
* Experience working within the Freight Forwarding industry.
* Experience working in ERP systems and data analytics tools.

It is an extra merit if you:

* Have a couple of years of experience within logistics/supply chain process development from international companies.
* Are comfortable presenting data and reaching agreement with different stakeholders.
* Fluent in English.
