Logistics Developer

We are now starting to ramp-up the recruitment for the factory Northvolt Ett in Skellefteå and we are therefore looking for a Logistics Developer for Internal Operations to join our growing Logistics team in Skellefteå. In joining us you will play an important part from the start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society. So forget about everything you thought you knew about working in the industry, this is going to be completely different!
During start-up of our Northvolt Ett factory, there will be lots of new equipment/systems that will be taken into use (automated stores, AGV’s, ERP etc.). We need someone who can act as link between us at Internal Operations and the central team of engineers/developers who have designed the factory.

The period of the assignment is fixed to 1 year, with good chances of getting full time employment after that.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Represent Internal Operations in projects connected with logistics such as material flows and new technology/systems
Project manage local implementation projects and improvement projects
Create time plans and keep them updated
Be a competence bearer during start-up of new technology and ensure that competence is described and transferred to operations. This can include creating tutorials and perform trainings
Keep a close dialogue with central engineering, manufacturing and the material handlers.

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering
Preferably experience in Logistics Development
Fluency in English, and preferably also Swedish
Advance computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Specific Skills/Abilities
Technical knowledge or a great interest in ERP, automated warehouses and AGVs
Proven skills in working with continuous improvements in industrial environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
Structured with overall perspective and able to prioritize
Flexible and can easily adapt to changes

You have good communications skills and problem-solving focus. We also think that you have a "can-do" attitude and entrepreneurial spirit with a safety mindset.
